All vehicles with fuel injection has an Electronic control unit (Ecu). this unit manages and control all engine functions.
Thereīs an Eprom memory inside Ecu , this memory contains all data to control the engine as well as spark and fuel injection times, lambda correction, Rpm limits, Turbo pressure and more.

This sockets were design to manage Ecu with two diferent softwares. One of them to work with Fuel (same as original) and the other to work with GNC or GLP (Natural Gas). So itīs necessary  to remove Original Eprom to install a double capacity Eprom and Bifuel socket inside Ecu.
With bi-fuel sockets the Ecu works like a standard fuel car by the first time, but the Ecu has an external cable.Wich if you apply 12 Volts the Socket change to the second software . Changes between first and second program or software can be made without stop the engine. Switching time between programs is 9 n sec. Bi-fuel sockets has an Opto-couplered circuit . it avoids noise in the Ecu. Besides it has anticopy system to avoid read datas and software in the Eprom.
